Structuralism is Wundt’s approach, which focuses on uncovering the fundamental mental components of consciousness, thinking and other kinds of mental states and activities.


Structuralism is a school of psychology, closely associated with Wilhelm Wundt, which emphasizes the contents of the mind as it appears to introspection and the mental framework or structure that contains these contents.
