Catalog marketing

Catalog marketing refers to direct marketing through print, video, or digital catalogs that are mailed to select customers, made available in stores, or presented online.

Advances in technology, along with the move toward personalized, one-to-one marketing, have resulted in exciting changes in catalog marketing. Catalog Age magazine used to define a catalog as “a printed, bound piece of a t least eight pages, selling multiple products, and offering a direct ordering mechanism.” Today this definition is sadly out of date.
