Center of gravity

Center of gravity is

1. A hypothetical point at which all of the mass of an object acts as if it were concentrated. For a vehicle, the lower the center of gravity the less likely the vehicle will be to roll over when it is destabilized.

2. The source of power that provides moral or physical strength, freedom of action, or will to act.  Also called COG.
