Communication satellite systems

Communication satellite systems refer to commercial satellites that are launched into geosynchronous orbit at an altitude of about 22,300 miles above the equator. These are powered by solar panels and carry different types of signals, such as standard television programs, telephone transmissions, and high speed data.
