Data mining is the extracting of useful information about individuals, trends, and segments from the mass of data.

Data mining is the computer searches of customer data to detect patterns and relationships.

Data mining means marketers extract hidden predictive information from the warehouse via statistical analysis in order to find patterns and other information in databases.
