Deployment health surveillance

Deployment health surveillance refers to the regular or repeated collection, analysis, archiving, interpretation, and distribution of health-related data which are used for monitoring the health of a population or of individuals, and for intervening in a timely manner to prevent, treat, or control the occurrence of disease or injury, which includes occupational and environmental health surveillance and medical surveillance subcomponents.
