Floppy disks

Floppy disks are 5.25-inch or 3.5-inch storage diskettes made of polyester film with a magnetic coating, used mostly on microcomputers. They are reliable and portable and have fairly large memory capacities (between 720 kb and 2.88 MB). But in present time, floppy disks are no more used in any kind of computer. Instead of floppy disks, pen-drives are used in present time for any kind of data storage.
