Pluralistic Ignorance

Pluralistic Ignorance bystandersinterpretation of an event, caused by reliance on what others do or say even though no one is sure what is happening all hold back and act as if there is no problem, then each individual uses this” information” to justify failure to act.


Pluralistic ignorance means a social situation in which each individual believes himself to be the only exception to the accepted beliefs or behaviour of his group.
