Wholesaling

Wholesaling refers to all the activities involved in selling goods and services to those buying for resale or business use. Firms engaged primarily in wholesaling activates are called wholesalers.

Wholesalers buy mostly from producers and sell mostly to retailers, industrial consumers, and other wholesalers. As a result, many of the nation’s largest fan most important wholesalers are largely unknown to final consumers. For example, you may never have heard of Grainger, even though it’s very well known and much valued by its more than 1.8 million business and institutional customers across North America, India, China, and Panama.
