Cultural relativism

Cultural relativism is the viewing of people’s behavior from the perspective of their own culture.

Definition Two:

Cultural relativism is the idea that a cultural item can be judged or understood only in relationship to the entire culture in which it is embedded.

Cultural relativism is the viewpoint that judgments of different ways of life or definitions of universal human interests (like truth, beauty and goodness) can never be made in absolute terms but only within the context of a given culture.
