Narcissism

Narcissism is excessive or erotic interest in oneself and one's physical appearance. From the Greek myth of Narcissus who fell in love with his own reflection. Excessive self-love in whatever form, characterized by a preoccupation with oneself (one's self) to the exclusion of others. In psychoanalysis, an early stage of psychosexual development where the self is the sexual object.
