Radio government is the coaxial cable designation that reflects coaxial cable’s original use as a conveyance for radio frequency data and signals. The cable designation for thin net is RG-58: for CATV RG-59: for ARCnet, RG-62; and for thick wire, either RG-8 or RG-11.
