Autonomy stage

Autonomy stage is the second of the eight stages of development through the human life cycle proposed by Erik Eriksone. This stage occurs between the ages of one or one and a half years and three or three and a half years. It is the time concerned with acquiring self-mastery and overcoming feelings of doubt and shame.
