Cerebral cortex is referred the “new brain”, responsible for the most sophisticated information processing in the brain; contains four lobes.


Cerebral cortex is the surface layers of grey matter that cover most of the BRAIN. Thought to be the area of the brain primarily concerned with the higher mental processes likes earning, MEMORY, thinking and speech.
