Community psychology is a branch of psychology that focuses on the prevention and minimization of psychological disorders in the community.


Community psychology is a combination of applied clinical and social psychology that attempts to foster the well-being of psychologically disturbed people by intervening in their social environment and utilizing the resources of their community to help them adapt.
