Dancing mania

Dancing mania which a mania that takes the form of wild, uncontrollable dancing. First noticed in the four tee nth century as an epidemic that raged across Europe in the wake of the Black Death or bubonic plague, apparently as a result of mass religious frenzy combined with some damage to the nervous system from the disease.
