Fiber-optic cable
Fiber-optic cable consists of thousands of hair-thin strands of glass or plastic, bound together inside a glass cylinder that is covered by a protective sheath. Fiber-optic cable carries data signals in the form of modulated light beams. It is virtually free from all forms of electronical interference.
