Information literacy

Information literacy is the ability to create and use information systems to achieve a competitive advantage for an organization. Information literacy includes Computer literacy, along with problem-solving skills and business acumen.

Four Characteristics of Information literacy:

  1. Problem-solving skills.
  2. Business acumen.
  3. Understanding the organizational mission.
  4. Knowledge of information technologies.
