Masochism
Masochism is the experience of sexual pleasure through suffering physical pain. Usually considered a sexual perversion. Named after Sader Masoch, an exponent of the subject.
In psychoanalysis, masochism is seen as a form of turning one's destructive drives inwards. Usually coupled with sadism as Sado-Masochlsm.
