Network architecture

Network architecture is a set of standards, or protocols, for telecommunication hardware and software. Network architecture is intended to maximize modularity, user-friendliness, reliability, and ease of network maintenance. The network architecture must establish standards for all its elements: the hardware, the software, and the user interface.
