Self-fulfilling prophecy is the idea that the mere application of a label changes behaviour and thus provides justification for that label.


Self-fulfilling prophecy is the idea that expectations concerning one's own or other people's behaviour can lead to the expected behaviour appearing , such as in the Rosenthal Effect.
