Semicircular canals

Semicircular canals are consisting of three tubelike structure of the timer ear containing fluid that sloshes through them when the head moves, signaling rotational or angular movement to the brain.


Three fluid-filled canals which are located in the inner ear at right angles to each other and pass information about movement and balance to the brain are called semicircular canals.
