Simplex

Simplex— in simplex mode, a data communication device can either send or receive data, but cannot do both, so transmission occurs in one direction only. Simplex transmission takes place on news wires that carry information to various newspapers. News wires can only send information to newspapers, not receive information from them. Another example of simplex transmission is television broadcasting, which moves only from the TV station to the TV set.
