Special Education - In Texas, education that ensures all children with disabilities have available to them a free appropriate public education that emphasizes services designed to meet their unique needs and prepare them for employment and independent living. Services may be available to students with a physical disability, mental retardation, emotional disturbance, learning disability, autism, speech disability or traumatic brain injury.
