Unconditional positive regard
Unconditional positive regard is an attitude of acceptance and respect on the part of an observer, no matter what a person says or does.
In Carl Rogers ' clientcentred therapy, this is the attitude of total acceptance that the therapist has to show the client for the therapy to be successful is called unconditional positive regard.
