Active preventative program (against terrorism)
Active preventative program (against terrorism) refers to those deliberate low–visibility, clandestine, and/or overt actions that are taken to deter or lessen the effectiveness of planned or actual acts of terrorism. This program may include political, social, economic, psychological, military, or a combination of those actions.
