Aversion therapy

Aversion therapy is a behavioourist technique that attempts to eliminate some undesirable behaviour by the use of unpleasant stimuli, often electric shocks, for example by presenting an alcoholic with a bottle and a shock until the bottle ceases to be a desirable object.
