Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System

Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System is a board with seven governors (including the chairman) that plays an essential role in decision making within the Federal Reserve System.


Federal Reserve System is the federal agency that serves as  a “lender of last resort”  for banks in need of temporary loans and is charged by the U.S. Congress to monitor and control the growth of money and credit and stabilize credit market conditions and the economy.
