Change agent

Change agent is a term used to define an individual or group of individuals who directly or indirectly cause or accelerate social, cultural, or behavioral change.


Change agent is a term that is sometimes used by people who try to apply social psychology to social situations. it refers to someone whose task is to stimulate social change in what is considered a desirable direction. For example, raising the consciousness of an exploited group to the point of understanding and attempting to remove the exploitation.
