Dual labour market

<p><strong>Dual labour market</strong> is the hypothesis that men and women have differential earnings because they work in different parts of the labour market. For example, men dominate the field of engineering (high pay, high prestige), while women dominate the field of social work (low pay, low prestige).</p>
