Electronic data interchange (EDI) is the computer-to computer exchanges of invoices, purchase orders, price quotations, and other information between buyers and sellers.


EDI is the computerized exchange of information between organizations in order to avoid paper forms. The classic use of EDI is to eliminate purchase requisitions between firms.


Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) is a direct computer-to-computer exchange of data over a telecommunications network.
