Invention logbook

An invention logbook refers to the documentation of the dates and activities related to the development of a particular invention. As soon as an inventor has an idea for an invention, a complete description of the invention should be written down, sketches should be made of it, and how it works should be described in detail. The inventor should then sign and date the documents and indicate that he or she is the inventor.
