Straight Piecework

Straight Piecework is an incentive plan in which a person is paid a sum for each item he or she makes or sells, with a strict proportionality between results and rewards. It entails a strict proportionality between results and rewards regardless of output. However, some piecework plans allow for sharing productivity gains between employer and worker: here, the worker receives extra income for some above normal production.
