Trainability refers to an individual’s ability to acquire certain skills to desired level of performance. Preliminary conceptual research on expatriate trainability has observed that the various cross-cultural KSAs (knowledge, skills and abilities) may be classified according to their stable properties (e.g. personality) versus their dynamic properties (e.g., knowledge, skills).
