Credit memorandum Sometimes a depositor asks the bank to collect its notes receivable. In such a case, the bank will credit the depositor’s account for the cash proceeds of the note.
Debit memorandum Some banks charge a monthly fee for their services. Often they charge this fee only when the average monthly balance in a checking account falls below a specified amount.
