Aptitude test
An aptitude test is designed to predict a person’s ability in a particular area or line of work. Most of us take one or the other of the best known aptitude tests in the process of pursuing admission to college: the SAT and the ACT. The SAT and the ACT are meant to predict how well people will do in college, and the scores have proved over the years to be moderately correlated with college grades.
Aptitude test is a test that tries to predict a person's capacity for acquiring a certain skill or ability.
