Machiavellianism refers the measures of the degree to which people are pragmatic, maintain emotional distance, and believe that ends justify means.


Machiavellianism is a personality characteristic in which a person manipulates others for his own gain. Named after the political theories of the fifteenth-century Italian statesman and writer.
