TDMHMR (Texas Department of Mental Health Mental Retardation) is a state agency that ceased operations on September 1, 2004. The services previously provided by this agency are now provided by the Texas Department of State Health Services, which handles community mental health services, and the Department of Aging and Disability Services, which handles mental retardation services.
