Association of Southeast Asian Nations is an organisation formed originally in 1967 to promote economic growth, social and educational development and general stability in Southeast Asia. The current members are: Brunei, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
