Cross exchange rates

Cross exchange rates represent the relationship between two currencies that are different from one’s base currency.It refers to the exchange rate between two currencies, given the values of currencies with respect to a third currency. In the United States, the term cross exchange rate refers to the relationship between two non dollar currencies.The value of any non dollar currency in terms of another is its value in dollars divided by the other currency’s value in dollars.
