Department of justice
Department of justice is an arm of the federal government; works closely with the FTC to preserve competitive markets through investigations by its Antitrust Division. This division investigates company activities that lead to one or a few firms so dominating an industry that they control the supply or cost of a product, enabling them to squeeze out competitors and charge extremely high prices.
