Human resource management

Human resource management is the formal structure within an organization responsible for all the decisions, strategies, factors, principles, operations, practices, functions, activities and methods related to the management of people.

Human resource management is the function of attracting, developing, and retaining employees who can perform the activities necessary to accomplish organizational objectives.

Human Resource Management is the staffing functions of the management process. Or, the policies and practices needed to carry out the "people" or human resource aspects of a management position, including recruiting, screening, training, rewarding, and appraising.
