Sexual orientation

Sexual orientation is the scientifically accurate term for an individual's enduring physical, romantic, emotional and/or spiritual attraction to members of the same and/or opposite sex, including lesbian, gay, bisexual and heterosexual orientations. (Closeted describes a person who is not open about his or her sexual orientation.)

Definition Two:

Sexual orientation is an individual’s physical or romantic attraction toward the opposite sex (heterosexual), one’s own sex (homosexual), or both sexes (bisexual). Research suggests that such orientation may well exist on a continuum.
